“Father Forgive Me For I Have Sinned”

Written by Joes Roldan Jr.
Directed by Dante Albertie

“Father Forgive me for I have Sinned”, is an auto-biographical coming of age story of a young Latino boy, who grew up in the South Bronx of New York City in the 80’s/90’s. He shows us just how he tries to identify himself in a world of stereotypes. He introduces you to the most memorable members of his family, from the freestyle queen of the Bronx to his Bruja Tia who has discovered the secret in keeping a man. Jose takes you from the mean streets of the Bronx and the living room of his family’s apartment to moments of his self-acceptance. The show has been performed in various theaters across the City of New York. Most recently at The People’s Improv theater. The show has also been chosen as a finalist in The Bronx Solo Festival, The One Festival and The United Solo Festival where the show won an audience award for “Most Talked about show on Facebook and Twitter”

The Shows runs 60 minutes without any intermission. The set includes a chair and a stool. There are also Sound and Light effects to compliment the show.
